Symposium on Pathways to Sustainable Solid Waste Management in Delhi

This symposium is aimed at discussing Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) management strategies from the perspective of informal waste workers and environmental health issues. The ultimate goal is to initiate a constructive dialogue for developing MSW management related alternatives strategies in Delhi. These strategies are supposed to be evolved through participatory and democratic decision making processes. Symposium aims at facilitating this process through involving participation of informal
waste workers, government officials, academicians, NGOs and common citizens into the discussion.
